The island of Oahu (The Gathering Place), is the most popular island in the entire State of Hawaii. Here's my favorite royalty-free images of the island, along with a few interesting facts:

The population of Oahu was 953,207 as of 2,010.
There are typically 200,000 tourists on Oahu at any given time.
Honolulu is the capital and largest city in the State of Hawaii.
Oahu features the largest open-air shopping center (Ala Moana Center) in the world.
