Kauai (The Garden Isle) is a somewhat rounded shaped island in the State of Hawaii. Here's my favorite royalty-free images of the island, along with a few interesting facts:

• At approximately six million years old, Kauai is the oldest island in the State of Hawaii.

• The population of Kauai was 66,921 as of 2010.

Description: A stunning image of the Na Pali coast over Ke'e Beach and Haena Point towards Hanalei Bay.

• With an annual average rainfall of 460 inches, the east side of Mount Waiʻaleʻale is one of the wettest places on earth.

• Kauai is very fertile island. Guava, coffee, sugarcane, mango, banana, papaya, avocado, star fruit, kava and pineapple can easily be grown on the island.
