With an annual average rainfall of 460 inches, the east side of Mount Waiʻaleʻale is one of the wettest places on earth.
Kauai is very fertile island. Guava, coffee, sugarcane, mango, banana, papaya, avocado, star fruit, kava and pineapple can easily be grown on the island.
