The Wii Shop Channel was limited to three releases in July 2012: two fighting games on the Virtual Console (The King of Fighters '96 and World Heroes Perfect); and one puzzle adventure on WiiWare (Save the Furries).

I'm not a huge fan of fighting games... so Save the Furries wins this award without much thought. Sure the game is chaotic at times, but it's still funner than the other releases this month.

• 60 levels

• Move and swipe pinballs, ropes, logs, crates, carts, switches, fans and other items to help create a safe path to the exit.
