AI: Your job. Give them to me.

The board of directors for a condominium is secretly plotting to replace their "useless" resident manager in the most devious plan I've heard of yet.

This person lied on their application that they could handle the full responsibilities of managing the condominium; after they got the job, they slowly refused to do each responsibility one by one. They even shut down their office!

After the board of directors informed this person that they were breaching their contract, the master manipulator broke down crying and made themselves the victim. The manipulation worked because they weren't fired and the board hired contractors to do most of their job.

This led to financial hardship for the condominium because they needed to raise the maintenance fee by 20 percent to afford these new contractors. Everyone in the condominium suffered for this one person with the following characteristics:

  • Charms the head of the board.

  • Gaslights the tenants into thinking they're overreacting and nothing happened.

  • Lies that nothing can be done about anything including vehicle damage.

  • Creates drama by pitting people against each other to advance their agenda.

  • Strategically "forgets" promises or agreements even if it's a part of the bylaws.

Congress is proposing that "able-bodied" Medicaid and Section 8 recipients volunteer in their local community for their benefits. Some of these volunteers will be thoroughly trained to run the condominium as a training facade. If one of these people is stellar, they will replace the master manipulator. This will allow the condominium to have a seamless transfer of power.

If none of these proposals are passed, the board plans on integrating artificial intelligence into their surveillance systems to reduce their resident manager's work as a nice gesture, and ultimately replace this person once the system is fine tuned. The irony is comedic.
