While their GM is in a mood to trade.

The Dallas Cowboys general manager (and owner) Jerry Jones has reportedly traded his 2019 first round selection for the Oakland Raiders wide receiver Amari Cooper. This trade doesn't make sense business wise considering:

  • Cooper's performance significantly declined since the 2017 season. He's currently playing in his fourth season.

  • Former Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant who performed better than Cooper expressed interest in rejoining the team. He played eight seasons with the Cowboys.

  • Jones wasn't willing to trade a second round pick for the Seattle Seahawks free safety Earl Thomas.

While Jones is in a mood to trade, he should trade has his head coach Jason Garrett for a VHS player and tapes of the Cowboys Super Bowl wins.
