I Purchased: 1 retail pack containing 5 cards for $1.60 Opening Thoughts: I had opened up a hot pack of this series back in March of 2011. My local target recently placed a few packs of this series in the bargin bin, so I figured that I'd give this series another shot. |
Cards In My Pack:
- 84 - Frank Gore
Gore entered the 2008 season having rushed for 1,100 yards in back-to-back seasons.
- 80 - Philip Rivers
Rivers suffered it out in the 2007 season. He underwent knee surgery soon after the team was eliminated at the AFC Championship Game, in which the New England Patriots (21) topped the San Diego Chargers (12).
- 20 - Carlson Palmer
Palmer is a two time Pro Bowler.
- 54 - Ted Ginn, Jr.
- 67 - Brett Favre
I bet no one had predicted that Favre would end up playing for the New York Jets!
Closing Thoughts: This is a good looking series. It's a shame that Panini screwed up this series after they had purchased Donruss...
