Product: 2008 Upper Deck Football Heroes
Key Cards in Set:
Inserts and Parallel Cards:
I Purchased: 1 retail pack for $0.75.
Opening Thoughts: I'm hoping for a Felix Jones, Joe Flacco, or Tony Romo card.
Cards In My Pack:
Rookie card. The Seattle Seahawks ended up drafing him.
Manning barely won Super Bowl XLII and sucked thereafter...
Threw 32,838 yards in his 14 year (1971–1986) career with the Cincinnati Bengals, and retired with a 81.9 QB rating. As a comparison Eli Manning currently holds a QB rating of 79.30 in his peak.
Another rookie card, but this one is worth a little more. Talib ended up being drafted by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Blount stayed with the Pittsburgh Steelers throughout his entire 1970-1983 career. He was also ranked number 36 on The Sporting News' list of the 100 Greatest Football Players.
Closing Thoughts: I don't care for any of the players in my pack and the design sucks; but I'm willing to purchase a box if I can find one for dirt cheap.
*Cards in my "main collection" will most likely never be sold. I'm either a huge fan of the player, or I really like the card.
