Opening Thoughts (Written Before the Weekend): Am I the only one who things that the promos for The Three Musketeers (2011) sucks? See for yourself:

To top that off, the last live action Three Musketeers movie bombed in 1993, so I doubt that the 2011 remake is going to top Paranormal Activity 3.

Box Office Highlights (October 21-23, 2011):

Paranormal Activity 3 grossed an amazing $54 million in its opening weekend. Making it the franchises largest opening yet, and the biggest October opening of all-time!
The Three Musketeers (2011) bombed! Not only did the movie score a measly $8.8 million in its opening weekend -- but it came in fourth place (behind Real Steel, at $11.3 million; and Footlose, at $10.8 million)!
