Animal Crossing: Jump Out is Going to Be Huge

Nintendo has revealed the file sizes for their upcoming downloadable retail titles on the Japanese eShop. Can you guess which of the following 3 titles uses 8,192 blocks (1 GB)? The answers are further below. No cheating!

  • Animal Crossing: Jump Out

  • Hana to Ikimono no Rittai Zukan

  • Mario & Sonic at the London Olympics

  • Mario Kart 7

  • Mario Tennis Open

  • Pilotwings Resort

  • Star Fox 64 3D

  • Super Mario 3D Land

  • The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D

Here's a list of those titles with its blocks usage:

  • Animal Crossing: Jump Out – 8,192 blocks (1 GB)

  • Hana to Ikimono no Rittai Zukan – 8,192 blocks (1 GB)

  • Mario Kart 7 – 8,192 blocks (1 GB)

  • Star Fox 64 3D – 5,120 blocks (640 MB)

Am I the only one who's surprised that Super Mario 3D Land only uses 4,096 blocks (512 MB)? I'm not surprised that Animal Crossing: Jump Out is going to use 8,192 blocks (1 GB). It seems like they've been announcing a new feature for that title on a monthly basis throughout the year.
