New Kirby Game Announced for Wii

Kirby fans will be pleased to learn that the pink blob is set to make his Wii debut proper in a new game.

Hoshi No Kirby (Kirby Of The Stars) is listed on Nintendo's latest release schedule at the end of the company's latest Financial Results Briefing document.

Little is known about this new game and we don't know for sure when it will be released. The release date is listed as TBA for Japan while it is missing from the Europe and US sections of the schedule.

Jeez. It's about time. Hopefully they're going to stick with the 2D format for this game, and then go 3D for the next. I've been wanting a motion controlled 2D Kirby game for quite some time.
