TorrentFreak.com has revealed that Crysis 2 was the most pirated Windows PC video game of 2011 at 3,920,000 downloads! That rounds out to a maximum loss of $196 million! Since the downloadable version of the game retailed for $50, $40, $30, $20, and $10 throughout the year, a more logical estimate loss would be $117.6 million.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 was the most pirated Nintendo Wii title for the second year in a row at 1,280,000 million downloads. The game retailed with an MSRP of $50 throughout the year, so that rounds out to loss of $64 million.

Overall, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 was the most pirated game of 2011, with an estimated 4,480,000 downloads for the PC and Xbox 360 versions. That rounds out to a loss of $268.8 million! Here's a list of the top 5 most pirated games for the PC, Wii, and Xbox 360:
