Reports: Fox to End (Cancel) 24

I have some sad news for 24 fans like myself: inside sources are saying that Fox is ready to say goodbye to the series.
"Studio and network execs declined comment -- but it's believed that the final decision will be made in the next day or two. Move is not a huge surprise, but still reps the end of an era for Fox," Variety.com reported.
Kiefer Sutherland may be open to filming another season - but with the way things are looking it doesn't really matter who's on board.
"The cost of producing "24" has continued to increase, while ratings have dipped," Variety.com added. "24" has also received its share of knocks from critics this season."
It has been mentioned that Fox may attempt to sell the 24 franchise to other networks, but I can tell you right now that won't happen... instead Fox will most likely opt to convert 24 into a movie franchise!
