GOG broke my Anti-Game Shield.
GOG's awesome "2014 DRM-Free Summer Sale" is over. Although I told myself that I couldn't purchase any games this summer because I have a huge backlog of games that I have yet to pass... I ended up purchasing four games during that sale.
I first game that I purchased was Pathologic for $1.99 (80 percent off). Although I already own a copy of that game, I wanted to own a DRM-free copy with the bonus content (soundtrack, wallpapers, etc.) included with the GOG version.
The second game that I purchased was Scratches: Director's Cut for $1.99 (80 percent off). I've been curious about the atmosphere in this game for years, but I never got around to purchasing it because I'm not a fan of point and click games. Even if I'm disappointed with this game the included soundtrack is well worth the $1.99.
The third game that I purchased was Slender: The Arrival for $2.49 (75 percent off). I mostly purchased that game for its soundtrack.
The fourth game that I purchased was Dark Fall: Lost Souls for $1.99 (80 percent off). This is another point and click game that I've been intrigued with for years. I figured that I'd give that genera another chance with a second point and and click game.
I spent a total of $8.46 for those four games. That's an awesome price considering all of those games combined has approximately 81.5 hours worth of gameplay.
