In Spanish.
I wanted to watch both episodes of R. L. Stine’s The Haunting Hour: The Series starring William B. Davis, but to my surprise, no streaming platform has the series available in English.
Tubi has the series, but for whatever odd reason, they only have the Spanish version.
I wanted to watch two particular episodes because they would pair perfectly with my Halloween Season campaign. I’m currently rewatching The X-Files, which stars William B. Davis as the iconic “Cigarette Smoking Man.”
Davis is featured in Season 3, Episode 24, “Bad Egg,” and Season 4, Episode 2, “Grandpa’s Glasses.”
I would absolutely purchase this series on home video, but unfortunately, only 30 episodes were released across six DVD volumes. Frustratingly, the remaining 46 episodes never received an official physical release.
To make matters worse, the two episodes I was specifically hoping to watch aren't included on any of the DVD volumes.
I suppose I’ll have to stream these episodes in Spanish, even though I probably won’t understand most of what’s being said.
I’ll have to rely on context, facial expressions, and whatever I can pick up from the visuals. Maybe I’ll even discover that watching The Haunting Hour in Spanish somehow makes the episodes feel even creepier.
