Only 17 titles are showing up.
Some Disney+ subscribers like myself are reporting a frustrating problem with the service's PlayStation 5 app: their Watchlist doesn't show everything they've saved.
Users have reported that their complete Watchlist is visible on the web or other devices, while the Disney+ app on PlayStation 5 displays only a portion of those titles. In some cases, users say the console shows roughly 17 items despite having more saved to their account.
In my own case, my Disney+ account has 29 items saved to its Watchlist, but the PlayStation 5 app displays only 17 of them.
The problem appears to affect the display of the Watchlist rather than the underlying account data. That distinction is important. If a title remains visible on another device, subscribers haven't necessarily lost it, they simply can't access the complete list from their PlayStation 5.
For users, however, the distinction doesn't make much difference. A Watchlist is supposed to provide a simple, centralized place to keep track of content they want to watch. Having to switch to a phone or computer to find missing titles defeats that purpose.
Disney+ support has reportedly been made aware of the PlayStation-related problem, but a clear public explanation or timeline for a fix would go a long way toward reassuring affected subscribers.
Streaming services increasingly depend on personalized features such as Watchlists to help users navigate enormous libraries. Those features need to work consistently across supported devices.
