Here's what I needed to do to fix that issue.![]()
My plan of watching three episodes from the second season of Hannibal via VUDU was delayed today, because I kept on receiving the following error whenever I tried to stream or download a video from that service:
"Oops! This movie won't play on your display due to copyright restrictions. It can be played only if both your output and display support HDCP. [#3338]"
I experienced that issue after I updated Adobe Air to the latest version. I assumed that my Adobe Air license files was corrupted during that update, but that wasn't the case.
I partially uninstalled Vudu To Go, and fully uninstalled Adobe Air, and reinstalled Vudu To Go (which also installs Adobe Air), but that issue persisted.
I finally fixed that issue by fully uninstalling Vudu To Go, by uninstalling that application as normal, and deleting my com.vudu.air.Downloader video library folder.
I only had sixteen episodes of Hannibal in HDX quality in my com.vudu.air.Downloader folder, which is a little over 40 GB worth of content. If I had 500 GB worth of content in that folder -- I would have exploded!
