From $40 to $100 in a matter of days.

Sales for 2025 Topps Chrome SpongeBob 25th Anniversary Blaster Boxes have surpassed $100 on a popular auction website and a substantial number of hobby shops.  This is due to social media posts from people claiming to have pulled mega hits, such as these recent sales:

  • SuperFractor TA-SPS Bill Fagerbakke / Tom Kenny / Rodger Bumpass (serial numbered 1/1) - $50,000.

  • SuperFractor SG-7 Gyula Nemeth (serial numbered 1/1) - $20,000.

  • SuperFractor 45 The Krusty Krab (serial numbered 1/1) - $19,999.

  • SuperFractor SG-14 Shane Houston (serial numbered 1/1) - $15,500.

  • SuperFractor 25-4 Gary Come Home (serial numbered 1/1) - $15,000.

The Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) for this product is $39.99, resulting in a markup of 150 percent.

A few sellers on a popular auction website are attempting to increase the market value to $110. There's a scenario where the market value can increase further if there are unreported SuperFractor's listed for sale.

I remember when hobby boxes of non-sport products used to sell for around $80-$120, and blaster boxes used to sell for $20.

Unfortunately for me, I wasn't lucky enough to find this product in my local retail locations; apparently, someone purchased the entire lot seconds after they were stocked.
