At least in my local stores.
2026 Magic: The Gathering Lorwyn Eclipsed was released on January 23, 2026, and Collector Boosters are still sitting on my local store shelves weeks later.
For comparison, Collector Boosters for the last two sets, which are part of the "Universes Beyond" lineup, sold out in my local stores within one day.
This is the point that I try to make with hardcore fans who criticize Wizards of the Coast for replacing some of their regular sets with Universes Beyond sets. A diverse range of lineup is the best-case scenario for hobby shops that rely on hot-selling products to stay in business.
Wizards of the Coast has made significant improvements to its printing technology since introducing the Universes Beyond lineup, as more hobby shops are willing to purchase these products at a higher price. Regular sets also benefited from these improvements, so it's a win-win scenario.
Next up is Universes Beyond: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, releasing sometime in March 2026. I failed to secure a pre-order for a Collector Booster on Amazon.com, so my only other chance to purchase this product at MSRP would be in my local stores. I'm expecting Collector Boosters for this set to sell out very quickly in my local stores.
