The market value of the 2026 Pokémon Trading Card Game Mega Evolution 30th Celebration Elite Trainer Box is insane. With an MSRP of just $49.99, this ETB is currently selling for around $170 on the secondary market , a staggering 240% markup!
That’s more than 3× the original retail price!
The big question now isn't whether The Pokémon Company International will print more. They have already said it is maximizing production and continuing to reprint high-demand products, but how much more supply for this particular product is coming?
If the print run ends up being relatively small, this product could potentially surpass the 2021 Sword & Shield Celebrations Elite Trainer Box, which is currently selling for around $360, in the years ahead.
That said, it will most likely never reach the legendary status of the 2016 XY Generations Elite Trainer Box, which is currently selling for around $3,500!
The anniversary launch has also produced some memorable scenes at local retailers.
In one particularly relatable example, adults recruited their бабушка (grandmother) to brave the launch-day chaos and pick up 30th Celebration products for them.
The mission, however, came with one small complication: they looked completely confused as they grabbed the products. Their instructions were apparently simple: “Secure the Pokémon cards. Ask questions later.”
