Question: Is Game Freak planning on patching Pokemon X and Pokemon Y to accept and use Mega Stones from Pokemon Alpha Sapphire and Pokemon Omega Ruby?
Answer: Game Freak hasn't mentioned if they're planning on patching Pokemon X and Pokemon Y to accept new content (Mega Stones, items, etc.) from Pokemon Alpha Sapphire and Pokemon Omega Ruby.
Opinions: I doubt that Game Freak would be willing to spend their resources on a patch that wouldn't increase their revenue.
