Pre-orders for the 2025 Topps Labubu Chrome 10th Anniversary Hobby Box went live today for $50 (excluding shipping and handling) on the official Topps store; needless to say, this product sold out in a matter of minutes.
Each hobby box contains only five cards. Collectors who paid MSRP for this product paid $10 (excluding shipping and handling) per card.
Scalpers managed to resell their pre-orders a few minutes later for approximately $130 (including shipping and handling) on a popular auction website, with a markup of 160 percent.
If someone paid $130 for this product, they'd be paying $26 per card! If Topps doesn't release additional pre-orders for this product, the situation will most likely become worse.
All eyes are on the value boxes for this product, which have not yet been listed for pre-order. Since the release date is December 18, 2025, many expect significant difficulty in securing a box if demand for the Hobby Box continues to outpace supply when pre-orders open.
Update (October 21, 2025): Topps has removed this product from their store. Usually, this means they won't offer an additional restock, but I'll be sure to keep you all updated if they do.
