Despite the product not having an official SKU.
A major retailer is currently selling loose 2026 Pokémon Trading Card Game Mega Evolution 30th Celebration Booster Packs for $14.99 each.
The problem? There is no official U.S. SKU for individual loose booster packs from this product.
For comparison, a Two-Pack Blister retails for $9.99, putting the estimated MSRP of each included Booster Pack at approximately $4.99.
That means this retailer is effectively charging 3× the estimated MSRP for a single loose Booster Pack. That’s a $10 premium over the estimated $4.99 MSRP.
Since these Booster Packs are presumably being pulled from products that also include at least one promo, what is the retailer doing with those promos?
I would like to know whether this major retailer can guarantee that these packs have not been weighed. This is a significant concern, especially since packs from this set can reportedly be weighed to find potential hits.
Still, this can't be as bad as a scalper selling loose Booster Packs for $13.15 each, with a 15-pack minimum order, and threatening to cancel your order if you don't meet the minimum.
Imagine having to pay **$197.25 or more** for loose Booster Packs that could potentially be weighed.
