The lowest price on record.

The digital Nintendo Switch version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition is on sale for $14.99 (75% off) on the Nintendo Store until May 25, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. PDT!

This version contains the base game, as well as both of its expansions: Hearts of Stone & Blood and Wine. It's a technical marvel! When CD PROJEKT announced this port in 2019, fans were skeptical it would run flawlessly on the severely underpowered Switch.

Although the launch version was rough around the edges, a future update drastically improved its visuals. It runs smoothly at 540p in handheld mode and 720p docked, with a dynamic resolution to maintain a mostly stable 24–30 FPS. Here's a video showcasing the first 40 minutes:

After my PC graphics card failed during the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, I opted to purchase the physical Switch version over the PlayStation 4 version, and I wasn't disappointed. It's a completely different experience playing this game on a handheld.

The first wave of the physical version sold out quickly because it included a compendium, a map, and stickers. I purchased the last copy from the first wave at my local stores. The second wave of shipments didn't include these bonus items.

Even though I've since purchased this game on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, I still boot up my Switch version to cruise around its massive world, and admire the work Saber Interactive did when they helped CD Projekt Red port this game.
