An HTML 5 test has revealed that the upcoming New Nintendo 3DS significantly improves upon its predecessors Internet Browser.
Notable improvements includes H.264 video support, subtitle support, gamepad control and added security.
Overall, the New Nintendo 3DS' Internet Browser scored 359 out of 555 points on that HTML 5 test vs. 97 for the Nintendo 3DS' version of that browser.
As a comparison, the Sony PlayStation Vita's HTML 5 score is 291 while the Nvidia SHIELD's HTML 5 score is 442.
