Some parts of Nintendo's online services (online play, rankings, etc.) are currently experiencing technical difficulties.
The Nintendo Wii U and Nintendo 3DS are both affected by that outage, which started on Sunday, October 12, 2014 at 7:05 PM Pacific Time.
I received error code 001-0112 in Pokemon X during that outage.
Nintendo didn't previously announce scheduled server downtime.
Update: Nintendo has mentioned that outage should be resolved by Monday, October 13, 2014 at 2:00 AM Pacific Time.
