Satoru Iwata: 1959-2005.
Nintendo has released a shocking statement announcing the death of president Satoru Iwata:
"Nintendo Co., Ltd. deeply regrets to announce that President Satoru Iwata passed away on July 11, 2015 due to a bile duct growth."
Iwata underwent surgery to remove the bile duct growth last summer, and was only 55 years old when he passed away.
My condolences goes out to his family and friends. He will be greatly missed in the video game industry.
