Here's hoping for some interesting details.
Nintendo announced today a special Super Smash Bros. Wii U/3DS themed Nintendo Direct that will air online on Tuesday, April 8, at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT.
I'm hoping that Nintendo will detail the connectivity features between the Wii U and 3DS versions of those titles... but they'll most likely limit that event to additional characters (hopefully Meta Knight), and a release date.
Some weird predictions that I've read online includes:
- A May 2014 release date.

Both games being delayed until 2015.

Banjo-Kazooie as playable characters.

The Wii U version including a code to download the 3DS version for free.
