Notes
Despite not being listed as Sage's top five "most celebrated 2005 football draftees," DeMarcus Ware ended up making a bigger name for himself than almost all of those players.
According to Sage, Marion Barber III, Aaron Rodgers, Ronnie Brown, Alex Smith and Cadillac Williams was the "most celebrated 2005 football draftees." All of those players bombed in the NFL except for Rodgers.
Ware played for the Dallas Cowboys from 2005-2013, during which he became that teams all-time sack leader, and was selected to play in eight Pro Bowl's during that timespan.
The Cowboys released Ware after the 2013 season to save $7.4 million against their salary cap. The Denver Broncos was quick to sign a three-year contract with Ware worth $30 million.
The Broncos investment paid off because Ware logged 40 tackles in his first season with that team, which ironically outclassed all of the Dallas Cowboys Defensive Ends during 2014.
Sale
Another Platinum A45 DeMarcus Ware trading card is currently listed on ebay for $129.99. I'm planning on selling my trading card for a much lower price in the spring.
