A.k.a. photography mode.
Campo Santo released today, a new patch for the Microsoft Windows PC version of Firewatch that adds a free-roam mode to that title.
Free-roam mode will unlock after you've finished the main campaign. That mode includes dynamic 24-hour weather, and miles of trails to hike on.
If you purchased that title on Steam, that client will automatically download and install that patch (assuming you didn't tamper with the default settings).
