September 30, 2014: American Horror Story fans have been speculating for months that Netflix will add American Horror Story: Coven (a.k.a. "American Horror Story Season 3") to their streaming service in October 2014, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Here's why:

American Horror Story: Coven isn't listed on IGN's "New to Netflix for October 2014" article.

American Horror Story: Murder House (a.k.a. "American Horror Story Season 1") was added to Netflix's streaming service towards the end of November 2012.

American Horror Story: Asylum (a.k.a. "American Horror Story Season 2") was added to Netflix's streaming service in the beginning of December 2013.
Using the facts above, I've come to a conclusion that American Horror Story: Coven should be added to Netflix's streaming no earlier than the end of November 2014.
