Or is he satisfied with staying at 12:35 AM?

CBS announced last week they've hired Stephen Colbert to replace David Letterman on The Late Show in 2015.

Some fans have been speculating that Craig Ferguson will most likely quit hosting The Late Late Show after his contract ends in 2015 because he wasn't chosen succeed Letterman.

Entertainment Weekly asked CBS’ Entertainment Chairman Nina Tassler how Colbert taking over The Late Show affects Ferguson. Here's what she had to say:

"We’re big fans of Craig. We had an 11:30 issue. That was our first order of business," Tassler said. "Obviously, as much as we knew that this day would come with Dave, Craig is here and doing his show at 12:30 and we love having him there."[1]

CBS may be satisfied with Ferguson hosting The Late Late Show -- but how does he feel about staying at 12:35 AM?!

If Ferguson quits hosting The Late Late Show -- there's a 99 percent chance I'll quit watching late night talk shows on a regular basis, because the only hosts that I found really interesting are Conan O'Brien and Ferguson.

Update (April 28, 2014): Craig Ferguson announced today he's stepping down as host of The Late Late Show sometime in December 2014; in a related note, I'm planning on using my Netflix account more sometime in December 2014.
