Topps Prime [Fair].

I pulled a Copper QR (quad relic) Sammy Watkins card from my $8.67 retail hot pack of 2014 Topps Prime Football. Let's find out if I'm lucky enough to pull another parallel from my $7.97 hobby hot pack from that series.

I've came to a conclusion there's a lower tier patch card in this pack, because I can see three standard cards through the pack. Higher tier cards has fewer cards in the pack. Although I don't like this series -- I'll jump with joy if I pull a Gold Rainbow parallel.

Insert Cards

  • PP-TE - Tyler Eifert (hobby Prime Performance odds 1:10)

Eifert suffered from a dislocated elbow in his first game of the 2014 season against the Baltimore Ravens on September 7. He's expecting to be back to full health before July 2015.

  • PP-EE - Eric Ebron [RC] (hobby Prime Patch odds 1:11)

2014-topps-prime-football-pp-ee-eric-ebron

Ebron was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the 1st round of the 2014 NFL Draft as the 10th overall pick. If they could go back in time odds are they would have picked another player, because Ebron has butter fingers. He finished his rookie season with only 25 receptions, 248 receiving yards, and 1 touch down.

How is it the standard Prime Patch and Prime Performance cards has similar odds? What part of that makes any sense? Anyway, this hot pack couldn't have been worse...
