With a few reoccurring annoyances.

It took me about three months to rewatch the entire Married... with Children television series which consists of 259 episodes. The total runtime for that series is 5,991 minutes (nearly 100 hours).

The show is in my top ten favorite shows of all-time list because it has never Jumped The Shark, but it did have a few annoyances:

  • The departure of David Garrison (Steve Rhoades) still bugs me until today because he played the only normal main character. Although I like his replacement Ted McGinley (Jefferson D'Arcy) better, I sometimes wonder what the show would have been like if he stayed on the show.

  • Peggy Bundy (Katey Sagal) and Marcy D'Arcy's (Amanda Bearse) pregnancies being a part of Al Bundy's (Ed O'Neill) nightmares is awkward to watch because that wasn't the original storyline.

  • Seven (Shane Sweet) disappearing in the middle of season is more annoying than the already annoying character.

  • Despite bringing Fox solid ratings for over a decade; Married... with Children never received a true series finale because Fox abruptly canceled the show.

On a more positive note... my favorite episode is by far "You Better Shop Around: Part 2" from season 5; In that episode, Al and Peggy competes against Marcy and Jefferson in a supermarket shopping spree with Looney Tunes style violence. Jefferson flying backwards and Marcy being run over is hilarious.

The next show that I'm going to binge-watch is Home Improvement which consists of 204 episodes. I was originally planning on rewatching that show before Married... with Children, but I got distracted by the Bundy's.
