Can a 30 percent accuracy move hit 100 percent of the time?
Over the past few days I played against four Pokemon X/Y users from Japan that one-hit KO'd my entire team using Sheer Cold, an Ice move that has a 30 percent accuracy rating if your targets Pokemon is the same level as you.
After I became suspicious, I had my Xerneas use Substitute every time that I played against a Lapras, and lo and behold, this one players Lapras one-hit KO'd my Clawitzer, four of my Xerneas' Substitute's, my Xerneas, and my Blaziken! That's seven successful Sheer Cold's in a row!
Although Sheer Cold's accuracy can be improved to 50 percent with a Zoom Lens, the only way that move can successfully hit seven times in a row is with the Compound Eyes Ability -- that only a few select Bug Pokemon can possess; in other words, I played against hacked Pokemon.
What's even more interesting is that I only stumbled upon hacked Lapras' after the Pokemon Bank was released in Japan last week Tuesday (January 21, 2014). Is Nintendo still allowing hacked Pokemon onto their servers?
