Causes an uproar.stars-001

While I was waiting in line to exchange my Fandango reservation for a ticket to watch Star Wars: The Force Awakens in 3D at 1:20 p.m., I overheard the ticket counter attendant telling a middle aged woman that all of the 2D showings are sold out for the day, and that woman followed that by demanding a ticket three times in a row. Needless to say her strategy didn't work.

Fast forward to 30 minutes later and the film started at around 1:20 p.m. A few minutes later BB-8 rolled onto the screen just after the opening scene, and the freaking movie froze! Come on!

An usher came into the room and apologized for the delay. He stated the film wasn't supposed to have started until 1:35 p.m. The time in-between 1:20 and 1:35 was supposed to have been for trailers that wasn't sent to them. During that time we was treated to a blank screen.

When the movie restarted at 1:35, the freaking lights went on! There was an uproar in the theater. One woman in particular yelled as loud as she could. The situation was hilarious.

Throughout the movie a middle aged woman checked her Facebook page, because she couldn't live without that service for two hours. The guy sitting next to her looked furious.

Does anyone else have an interesting Star Wars: The Force Awakens theater related story to share?
