The worst core Resident Evil title makes its way to the PC.
Steam Spy has estimated that 39,897 people purchased the Microsoft Windows PC version of Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster in its first week (January 19-25, 2016) of sales.[1] While that amount might seem very poor, keep in mind the following:
-
Resident Evil 0 is the least liked title in that series.
-
The Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster was also released for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One consoles.
-
The Resident Evil Origins Collection, which was also released on January 19 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles, includes the Resident Evil 0 and Resident Evil HD Remasters.
-
The critically acclaimed Resident Evil HD Remaster, which was released on January 19, 2015, sold an estimated 174,743 copies on Steam in its first year of sales.[2]
