Is this the most expensive asking prices in the United States?
I visited the store yesterday to buy 2025-26 Topps Basketball products and was surprised by the high retail prices of the items in stock.
They were asking $29.99 for the Value Box, which is 20 percent more than the MRSP of $24.99.
If you think this is overpriced, wait until you hear what they wanted for the Hanger Box. Their asking price for this product is $21.99, which is a staggering 69 percent more than the MSRP of $12.99.
They didn't stock Retail Fat Packs that will presumably have an MSRP of $6.99. If they stock this product, I wouldn't be surprised if they list it from $7.99 to $10.99.
Needless to say, they had a lot of this product in stock because I doubt that many collectors would be willing to pay these prices.
All eyes will be on the other store nearby that hasn't yet stocked this product. If their prices are close to MSRP, I'm expecting the collectors in my neighborhood to wipe out their stock.
