Or should it remain as is?
Cresselia is a Psychic-type Pokemon that was introduced in the Pokemon Diamond and Pokemon Pearl series back in 2006.
In the Pokemon X and Pokemon Y series which was released in 2013, Game Freak introduced the Fairy-type, and allowed Cresselia to learn Moonblast, which is the most powerful Fairy-type Special Attack move.
Some fans have asked Game Freak to consider changing Cresselia's type to Psychic/Fairy, so that Pokemon can receive a STAB boost whenever it uses Moonblast.
A Psychic/Fairy typing would remove Cresselia's weaknesses to Bug and Dark-type moves, and make it weak to Poison and Steel-type moves.
Cresselia would also become immune to Dragon-type moves, and be further resistant to Fighting-type moves.
Considering I frequently use Cresselia, I like the idea of that Pokemon no longer being weak to Dark-type moves and resisting Dragon-type moves.
I suspect that most Pokemon Trainers would oppose a Psychic/Fairy-type Cresselia, considering Dragon-type (Dragonite, Garchomp, Zekrom) and Dark-type (Mandibuzz, Hydreigon, Tyranitar) Pokemon are very Popular.
Question: Should Game Freak change Cresselia's type to Psychic/Fairy?
