Demo of the week: The Bayonetta 2 demo showcases a solid fast-paced hack and slash game, but I ended up enjoying the Betrayer demo a lot more, because I've been curious about that game since the spring of this year.
Had Blackpowder Games release a demo for Betrayer sooner -- I would have definitely purchased that game this past summer when it was on sale for $9.99.
I like the fact that Betrayer starts out as a complete mystery, and I was surprised that I wasn't annoyed with its dull color pallet. If you're interested in knowing more about that game, here's a video that spoils a few key details:
