Some fans has predicted CD Projekt RED will put The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on sale for 60 percent off near the end of 2015. According to the historical data in the chart below, that might not be the case.

The Witcher 2 went on sale for 40 percent off during its first Black Friday and winter sale. If CD Projekt RED reuses that strategy, The Witcher 3 won't go on sale for a deeper discount until the summer of 2016.
