Will-O-Wisp is a Fire-type status move that has an 85 percent chance (as of Generation VI which consists of Pokemon X, Pokemon Y, Pokemon Omega Ruby, Pokemon Alpha Sapphire) of inflicting a burn on the target. The burn reduces the victims HP a bit with each turn, while also reducing its Attack stat by 50 percent. It has no effect on Fire-type Pokemon.
It seems like Will-O-Wisp mostly misses when you need it the most! Today my Cofagrigus failed to burn a Shell Smash Cloyster that swept my entire team.
If my Cofagrigus didn't miss, my Transformation Ditto would have swept my opponents entire team of Cloyster, Espeon and Mega Pidgeot.
The situation was worse prior to Generation VI when Will-O-Wisp's accuracy was 75%...
Question: Should Will-O-Wisp's accuracy be improved to 90, 95 or 100 percent?
