I read a post by JesseTheStallion on Amazon's Video Games forum claiming that Sony's PlayStation Plus subscription service is a "scam." Here's what he had to say:
"I've been a playstation[sic] plus[sic] member for over a year now and I've just recently been confronted with the notion that the "free" games I've downloaded aren't free at all. Nor are they mine. They're being "licensed to me" by Sony to play as long as I have a subscription."
"This is deceptive, dishonest and stupid. I originally signed up for a subscription because PS Plus advertised it self as membership that gave discounts, cool perks (like beta tests) and free games. Sony intentionally misled people like myself for their own benefit," JesseTheStallion stated.[1]
Sony has always made it clear that the "Free Games on PlayStation Plus" requires an "active PlayStation Plus subscription" to access content." That terms can be found on the PlayStation Plus gift card, subscription sign up page (as seen in the image below), and game purchase page. It's obvious that JesseTheStallion failed to read the fine print...

I don't understand how a general gamer could feel ripped off after subscribing to PlayStation Plus for a while.
I personally fell as if I ripped off Sony in the past two years that I've subscribed to their PlayStation Plus service. I got to play UNCHARTED 3: Drake's Deception, ICO, Shadow of Colossus, DmC: Devil May Cry, Remember Me, Tomb Raider, Joe Danger 2: The Movie, LittleBigPlanet 2, LittleBigPlanet Karting, Resident Evil: Chronicles HD Collection, PayDay 2, Metro: Last Light, Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen, Sleeping Dogs, Trine 2, Saints Row 2 and Saints Row: The Third for $100. And those are just the games that I could remember while I was writing this article.
In addition to those rentals, I purchased a number of discounted games with my PlayStation Plus subscription, and backed up all of my save files on Sony's server.
Question: Do you feel as if you received your money's worth with your PlayStation Plus subscription?
