Not many Nintendo Switch games have been announced... but there's one game that got me really excited: "Yooka-Laylee."
Yooka-Laylee is a 3D platform-adventure video game developed by Playtonic Games, a group of several former Rare developers from the Nintendo 64 era.
This game is a spiritual successor to Banjo-Kazooie (there's even a quiz show challenge before the final boss), with elements from Donkey Kong 64 (mine cart sequences, secret arcade games, etc.).
The main characters is Yooka (a male chameleon) and Laylee (female bat), as seen in this trailer:
I would have paid full price ($59.99) for this game, but Team17 is publishing this game for $39.99, with a release date of April 11, 2017! Win-win!
