Scalpers is not a great follower of moral values.
North America rarely sees new Blu-ray 3D releases, and whenever they do, production for those sets is extremely limited.
I remember when Rogue One: A Star Wars Story was released on Blu-ray 3D in Best Buy and Target. That $30 set sold out very quickly in stores, and a load of copies was listed on a popular auction website for over $100.
Meanwhile, major films such as Star Wars: The Last Jedi and Mission: Impossible - Fallout wasn't released on Blu-ray 3D in North America.
Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald will be released tomorrow on Blu-ray 3D in North America, and scalpers has taken note.
I was lucky to have purchased Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them on Blu-ray 3D because my local Target was putting that product on their shelves while I was in the area. I'm hoping my luck will continue with The Crimes of Grindelwald.
Question: Did you see Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald on Blu-ray 3D for sale in stores? Was stock extremely limited?
