The National Hockey League (NHL) and the National Hockey League Players’ Association (NHLPA) today announced Upper Deck will remain the exclusive licensed manufacturer of NHL trading cards in a multi-year deal.
This news isn't surprising considering the 2018-19 NHL season marks the 29th straight year of of their trading card partnership, and Upper Deck invested heavily on their digital e-Pack store.
Because that deal is for trading cards, Panini could potentially extend their license to continue manufacturing NHL stickers. A product they've released for over a decade.
