Will hobby box prices skyrocket on auction sites?
2015 Panini Select Soccer hobby boxes was released on January 8, 2016, and sold out a couple days later on two major online trading card stores that was selling that product for $129.99. Each of those boxes includes three autographed or memorabilia cards.
It's not clear if those stores will receive a second shipment, but with a lack of choices, it's going to be interesting to see how well that series sells on a popular auction website over the next week, which will be documented in the chart below:

January 15, 2016 Update: The cheapest box sold for $114.99, while the most expensive box sold for $158.95.
Demand for that series was so high, the average sales price spiked a whopping $30.12 after that series sold out on the most popular trading card stores.
Once those stores received their second shipment, they spiked their price from $129.99 to $149.95, which became the new standard price in auctions.
