The best Star Wars news of 2017.
Jurassic World director Colin Trevorrow will no longer direct Star Wars: Episode IX (9), Lucasfilm revealed Tuesday.
"Lucasfilm and Colin Trevorrow have mutually chosen to part ways on Star Wars: Episode IX. Colin has been a wonderful collaborator throughout the development process but we have all come to the conclusion that our visions for the project differ. We wish Colin the best and will be sharing more information about the film soon," Lucasfilm stated.[1]
No further details was given, but it's obvious Disney (that owns Lucasfilm) wants Episode IX to be a quality film.
Editors opinions: Disney made a huge mistake when they prematurely choose Trevorrow to direct Episode IX. It's as if they didn't watch the mediocre Jurassic World...
