I gave in to the temptation like Adam.
A particular value box of trading cards which contains 10 football related packs has been tempting for months. I finally gave in to that temptation by purchasing that box for $11.80.
I was tempted to purchase that box because it contains one 2013 Prizm hobby pack, one 2013 Prizm retail pack, and one 2014 Bowman jumbo pack. Even if the other packs are crap, those packs will justify the $11.80 price.
I'll fully cover the hobby and standard retail packs at a later date; in the meantime, I'll simply list the inserts that I pulled from each pack.

Topps Platinum is one of my favorite series. Unfortunately for me, I didn't score an insert from this pack.

2014 Bowman Football Retail Jumbo Rack Pack
I pulled a Blue Foil Geno Smith card serial numbered 39/99 from this pack. Cards in that set are inserted into one in every 70 jumbo packs
I also pulled 10 rookie cards, one of which is a Purple Odell Beckham Jr. card. Did anyone else also pull 10 rookie cards in their jumbo pack?
2014 Sage Hit Football High Series Retail Blaster Pack
I expected to pull at least two of these worthless packs from my value box. Thank goodness that wasn't the case!
Here's a quick breakdown of what I received in my value box:

10 packs: 1 hobby pack; 9 retail packs (1 value pack, 2 base card packs, 3 blaster packs, 3 standard packs).

66 cards: 61 base cards; 5 insert cards (1 serial numbered card).

Overall I paid approximately $0.18 per card, which is pricy considering almost all of my pulls aren't sellable.
