Improves memory and stability issues.![]()
Bethesda released today a version 1.2.37 beta update for the Windows PC version of Fallout 4. New features includes:
-
General memory and stability improvements.
-
Performance improvements inside the Corvega Assembly Plant.
-
Fixed issue with player becoming stuck in terminals.
You can opt into that beta update by following these steps:
-
Right Click on Fallout 4 in your Steam Library and select Properties.
-
Click on the Betas menu.
-
Select the beta update you would like to opt into in the drop down box and close that screen.
Wait a few minutes and Fallout 4 should update. When that process is done "Fallout 4" should appear as "Fallout 4 [Beta]" in your Steam Library.
I suggest backing up your Fallout 4 save files before you opt into that beta update, because those type of updates are subject to curruption (highly unlikely but it happens from time to time).
Your Fallout 4 save files can be found in the following folder: [Windows Drive]:\Users\[]Your User Name]\Documents\My Games\Fallout4\Saves
