The Microsoft Windows PC version of Tales of Symphonia is on sale for $6.79 (66 percent off) on Steam until October 10, 2016.
Namco Bandai Entertainment recently updated that version with a number of fixes including 4K support, and frame rate smoothing.
If you're unsure about purchasing that version, you can download and play the full game for free until midday PST on October 9. After which, you'll need to purchase the game to play it further.
